Sev Puri is popular Mumbai street chaat, loved by almost everyone. It usually has boiled potatoes, teekhi and meethi chutneys, chaat masala and sev topped on small crisp bit sized puris. But, what, if we make the sev puris without chutneys, have you ever wondered how will it taste? It will of-course taste as good as the street ones when made using Del Monte Mint mayo, yes you read it right! One of the easiest snack which you can make in just 15 minutes if you have all the things ready in refrigerator. Just stir everything in a bowl, top, garnish and relish! Del Monte Mint Mayo is a perfect green chutney with hint of mint and spices and pomegranate replaces meethi chutney beautifully giving it a crunch as well. This Del Monte Mint mayo is one variant which I will always keep ready in my pantry and enjoy the sev puris at home whenever I crave for it. Preparation time: 15 minutes
1 cup, boiled potatoes, chopped finely
75 grams, pomegranate
3 tablespoons, Delmonte Mint Mayonnaise
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Juice of 1 medium lemon
Black salt to taste
½ cup, coriander leaves, finely chopped
25 nos, puris
Fine Sev as required
In a large bowl, add potatoes, pomegranates, chili, Del Monte mayo, onion, half of the coriander leaves, lemon juice and black salt. Mix them all very well
Arrange 5-6 to puris on each serving plate.
Place a spoonful of mixture on the puris and top it with sev
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
